1.What to bring ?
Most things are available in Shanghai stores. Bring necessary documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, diplomas and school certificates, bank records, medical and dental records, vaccination certificates, insurance information, and driver's licenses. Also bring your children's school records for at least the past two years of school enrolment. Remember personal items such as medicine, health supplements and vitamins, your favorite books as there is a limited supply here, and cosmetics (especially natural). Ask your doctor for a one-year prescription for medications that you take regularly and arrange with your insurance company for payment for these long-term prescriptions. It's good to bring bed sheets as they are expensive, and those that are relatively cheap are not of a good quality.

Step 1 Temporary Residence Permit

Step 2 Application of Foreigners' Employment
First take all of materials to checking , if all of materials are ok, then send them to Jiangsu Labor Bureau for approving

· Appointment letter with company stamp
· Resume in Chinese with the company stamp
· Chinese Version of Copy of highest degree with the company stamp
· Original of passport
· Copy of the business License and copy of the organization machinery code certificate

Step 3 Health Certificate
The examination and tests required to get this permit may be done in your home country, but the Chinese Government may accept an overseas exam. International Travel Health Care Center only will check your “Health Certificate “. If you are having your exam here, proceed to the Nanjing Health Examination-Health Certificate.

To apply for a health exam, you will need to prepare the following documents:
· 2 piece of 2# photo
· Original passport
· Test health fee:RMB383
· Checking fee: RMB60

Step 4 Application of Work Permit
It can be applied at the Nanjing Labor Bureau .

· ”Employment Registration For Foreigners in China ” in three copies with your company and Municipal Department of Labor & Security's stamp; · Original of “Application of Foreigners' Employment”;
